TAKTYK® (pronounced tactic) is a tactical card based strategy game developed by youth enterprise Your Corps®. It is designed around meaningful decision making, resource management, and forward planning. Players must interpret card text and adapt to changing board states in a live face to face environment. The game combines the long term strategic depth of chess with the flexibility and creativity of modular card play, rewarding smart choices over memorisation or chance.
Through its world building, environmentally conscious production, and sustainability driven incentives, TAKTYK® strives to create real world social impact while remaining, first and foremost, a competitive and social game.

Designed, printed and manufactured in Invercargill, New Zealand, TAKTYK® represents a new generation of youth-led innovation being built right here in Southland. From concept development and gameplay testing through to manufacturing and packaging, local young people have played a direct role in bringing the project to life. More than just a trading card game, TAKTYK® helps create real employment opportunities, practical skills, confidence, and a sense of purpose through meaningful paid work connected to the local community.
Supporting Charity
A portion of proceeds from all TAKTYK ® sales is donated to charity, including INSERT COIN TO PLAY CHARITABLE TRUST™ in 2026, winner of Charity of the Year at the 2025 Southland Business Awards.
Insert Coin To Play Charitable Trust™ is a charity that makes high-quality activities and modern digital experiences for young people entirely free. By removing financial barriers, the Trust enables all young people to participate socially, improving mental health, connection, and wellbeing across the community.
Building digital infrastructure for young people
At the time of release, Southland has one of the highest youth NEET rates in the country, with around 15% of young people aged 15 to 24 not in employment education or training.
Your Corps® is creating actual opportunities through real paid work, actual projects, actual skills, and actual pathways forward.
Beyond employment, the project helps provide young people with a genuine sense of purpose pride and connection through meaningful work serving their own community.
